I was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin. It was there I grew up loving the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. I am the youngest of four children in my family, and am extremely blessed to have received an up-bringing with Christian parents.
My elementary education years began at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran School in Appleton, Wisconsin, and I continued my secondary schooling at Fox Valley Lutheran High School. After graduating in 2001, my love for children and inspiration of other teachers led me to attend Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. By the grace of God, I graduated in May of 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, and a minor in English.
Upon graduating, I received my first Divine Call to teach first grade and coach volleyball at Faith Evangelical Lutheran School in Antioch, Illinois. I served their nine years educating first-graders, kindergarteners and coaching volleyball teams. I appreciate the privilege of praying for/with God’s children, encouraging them in the light of God’s Word, and inspiring them for the future of sharing with others God’s saving message.
While teaching, I also attend several professional workshops and seminars that provide useful information to utilize as an educator. My current educational goals are to attend classes, and earn my Wisconsin State Teaching License. Other interests I have are reading specialty, and special needs courses.
Jeff and I are blessed with two beautiful girls. We love watching them grow! When I am not teaching, you may find my family enjoying the outdoors of God’s beautiful creation. You may also catch up with me sipping a good coffee, reading, or watching sports.
