Mrs. Michelle Dobberstein (Mrs. D)
3P-4K Teacher and Director
I am so blessed to be a part of this early childhood ministry! I love teaching children about Jesus. It is in everything I do - teaching in the 3 and 4 year old classes or raising my own boys.
I graduated from Martin Luther College in 2001 and taught for two years at Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac, WI. The Lord then lead my husband, Mark, and I through many different and exciting challenges that ended up on our farm. We raise cattle just outside Manawa. This is also where we are raising our five boys. We have the opportunity to see God’s goodness daily in our work there and also His great creation. Our boys are the greatest blessing God has given us and also the greatest challenge in raising them to fear and love the Lord.
I enjoy teaching and directing the early childhood here at Emanuel. We learn about Jesus everyday, we interact in kind and loving ways with our friends, and we learn academically and physically. There is never a dull moment! Outside of school, I enjoy my family on the farm, of course! We also enjoy camping when the boys are not playing which ever sport is in season. Mark and I both stay involved with their activities by coaching or just getting them here and there. The Lord has truly blessed us!
I have been teaching at Emanuel since 2013. I am thrilled at the opportunity to reach and preach to the littlest of our lambs. To do the very best in my calling, I continue my education. I am taking graduate courses through Martin Luther College in support of a master’s degree in Early Childhood administration.
I pray daily the Lord will bless our work here to reach more people!
