I grew up in Princeton, WI where I attended St. John’s Lutheran School. Before I began high school, my family moved to Zumbrota, MN, but I continued to live in Wisconsin while I attended Winnebago Lutheran Academy in Fond du Lac. I graduated from WLA in 2014 and then I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with plans to become a teacher.
I graduated from Martin Luther College in May of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Coaching. In July of 2018, I married my husband, Erich, who also went to Martin Luther College. A month after our wedding, we moved to Wuhan, China to serve with the Friends of China program.
While in China, I taught Spoken English classes to freshmen university students, but my purpose in being there was to share God’s Word with the people that I met. I also had the opportunity to travel around China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.
In February of 2020, Erich and I returned back to the United States and in May I was called to Emanuel to serve as the 5th grade teacher and also as the Athletic Director.
In my free time I enjoy playing sports, riding my bike, baking, and watching movies. I also enjoy traveling and hope to visit more countries in the future!
